When faced with a health problem, most people
will turn to their GP for advice and accept pharmaceutical drugs to
help resolve their symptoms. Sometimes this works, sometimes symptoms
are just exchanged, one set for another. It sometimes seems like you
are just juggling sides effects with the problems you had in the first
place. |
Naturopathy is an approach which supports the body’s own natural healing rhythms and helps to restore natural balance and healing. Like the Hippocratic oath, we seek to use natural remedies and supplements which will do no harm and help the body to sort its own problems out, which it will usually do if the following rules are followed: |
Secondly, supply good quality food – the body needs fresh, pure and good organic and fresh foods to supply all the nutrients it needs to perform its own healing miracles. Thirdly, supply fresh, pure water – all the body’s elimination channels rely on the water of life; if you are dehydrated, nothing will work properly, not even your thoughts. If you have annoying, worrying or irritating health problems that just don‘t go away, or you want to learn how to treat your body better and optimise your health, then a consultation with a naturopath could really help. |
| Dr. Enid Taylor qualified as a Doctor of Naturopathy in 2003. She founded the Taymount Clinic for Digestive Health and sees clients for naturopathic consultations at the clinic. Consultations are usually 1 hour in length and cost £75. Subsequent follow-up appointments can be half an hour for £40. |
